PEGASE equips the FFPULM for the Blois microlight show with a 330L petrol trailer
The Blois microlight show requires significant logistics in terms of fuel management.
This year PEGASE will be a partner of the FFPULM for refuelling with SP98 unleaded petrol.
The Ride 320L trailer for SP98 petrol can refuel microlights of the following types:
_ Paramotor
_ Weight-shift microlight
_ Multi-axis microlight
_ Ultralight gyrocopters
_ Ultralight helicopters

Petrol trailer with a capacity below 333L for microlights
Trailers for transporting SP98 unleaded petrol for refuelling microlights, with a capacity below 333 litres, are designed to meet the specific needs of microlight owners. Here is a summary of the main features associated with these storage trailers:
1. ADR storage trailer (capacity below 333L)
With a capacity below 333 litres, these trailers are suited to the fuel refuelling needs of microlights, offering enough petrol for several flights without exceeding weight or size limits.
Moreover, this type of trailer does not require ADR training (see the regulations tab)
2. Safe transport
The trailers are fitted with safety devices to ensure the safe transport of SP98 unleaded petrol. This may include containment systems, anti-theft devices and securing means to prevent leaks or accidents during transport.
3. Construction materials of the petrol tank
The materials used in the construction of these trailers are often lightweight, strong alloys such as aluminium, which ensures both the robustness and the lightness required for road transport.
4. Ease of handling and lightness of the trailer chassis
The single-axle trailers are designed to be easily manoeuvrable, which makes them easy to move around the site, whether to store them in a hangar or to bring them to the microlight refuelling area.
A trailer licence is not required to tow a 320L transport trailer with a GVW<750kg
5. Compliance and regulatory conformity
These trailers must comply with the safety and transport standards in force in the region where they are used. This generally includes specific regulations concerning the storage and transport of fuel, as well as road safety requirements.
6. Servicing and maintenance:
As with any fuel transport and storage equipment, the trailers require regular servicing to ensure their proper operation and safety. This includes periodic checking of the IBC, the fuel filter cartridges and the pump vanes.
Trailers for transporting SP98 petrol with a capacity below 333 litres are equipment specially designed to meet the fuel refuelling needs of microlights, offering practicality, safety and regulatory compliance all at once.
