New intervention by the PEGASE team at Cuers airfield
Discover how to fill a tank with unleaded 98 or AKI93 gasoline!
SP98 gasoline is increasingly popular in the aviation sector, particularly due to the development of engines adapted to this fuel.
Initially used in the ultralight aircraft sector, PEGASE has extensively developed storage capacities, distribution systems, and filling systems.
Tank trucks primarily deliver SP98 gasoline to underground tanks at service stations using gravity, unlike in aviation where tanks are above ground.
A pump is therefore necessary to fill the tank quickly and safely.
Following the delivery of their PEGASE tank – Clubman 10000L, the Cuers aerodrome once again entrusted us with the installation of an ATEX filling pump.
Indeed, this high-speed pumping system boasts a flow rate of 400 L/min!
The ATEX* electrical wiring was installed by our technical team.
It is compatible with JET A1 aviation fuel, AVGAS 100LL, or unleaded gasoline SP95, SP98, or AKI93.
Furthermore, this new installation is secured within the dispensing compartment.
All that remains is to connect the fuel truck hose!
